I am a postdoctoral research fellow at the Ocean Infrastructure Research Group at the Department of Political Science at the University of Copenhagen.  

I study global ocean politics and maritime security, including private maritime security, security technologies, climate change, sanctions evasion, and the environmental threats of  substandard "shadow tankers". My work has been published or is forthcoming in International Studies Quarterly, Security Studies and other journals. 

I have a PhD in Political Science from Brown University (2021).
